Sky and Sol sunscreen is specially formulated to be non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores. In fact, tallow closely resembles the structure of the oils naturally produced by our skin, so it's readily absorbed and extremely beneficial. However, everyone's skin is different. We recommend doing a patch test before trying any new cosmetics.

We recommend reapplying every 2 hours during sun exposure. If you're swimming or sweating, reapply immediately after towel drying. It provides up to 90 minutes of protection in water.

Our sunscreen is refined to remove any impurities that may cause insect attraction.

The expiry date is printed on the back of the product. It has a shelf life of three years when stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Since we don’t use synthetic preservatives, the freshness of the product depends on storage conditions. Once opened, we recommend using it within 12 months for the best experience.

The mixing method, particle size of zinc oxide, and the texture all affect SPF in dramatically different ways. So with homemade sunscreens, you don't know what level SPF you'll get. It's important to know for a fact that you are protected, especially when dealing with life-changing consequences like skin cancer.
